WSB Technologies offers a number of Information Technology services from assessment and planning through turnkey startup of a fully functional information systems deployment.
Thorough planning, proven process, and effective communication are key to the successful deployment of any Information Technology platform. For prospective customers, WSB Technologies starts with an initial consultative dialogue focused on the overall business and high-level technology objectives. This initial dialogue, typically about four hours, is provided at no charge and with no obligation for either party. Subsequently a project framework and a formal proposal are developed to establish the project cost, timeframes, and criteria for measuring success.
A prime example is our Data Protection Service (WSB-DPSSM). While there are many vendors offering "cloud backup" services; and there are many variations on just what such a service might provide customers. WSB Technologies has been in the business of protecting data and IT process since our inception in 1994; e.g. clusters, hot-sites, business continuity, and of course advanced backup/restore deployments. We started by evaluating the strengths and challenges presented with the top providers. The challenges often had to do with human factors; including expectations of "who does what" and "how" in the event of a serious outage. An extreme example would be characterized by "...what do you mean there is no on-site or direct help in rebuilding our failed server.". We built our WSB-DPSM service to take advantage of state of the practice Internet storage technologies complemented by WSB Technologies developed process and technology geared to the practical needs of commercial businesses.
We have successfully deployed single server Microsoft Small Business Server and Novell SUSE Linux environments, through high availability multi-site designs meeting disaster recovery environment requirements. We can integrate with cloud solution components to provide the right balance of local premise and remote computing.
