Staff

An underlying principal of WSB Technologies is to match the best staff person(s) to a project.  WSB Technologies may apply direct employees or external resources to a project.  WSB Technologies management typically provides oversight and accountability to the project while individual contributors bring to bear the best fit for a particular technology requirement.  Whether designing premise equipment rollout, a high availability Exchange virtual server farm, or a single server web solution, WSB Technologies will apply best fit resources.  

Principal and Founder

 

David Wells, co-founder and Principal, of WSB Technologies, has more than twenty-five years experience in the computer and information technology industry.  As a business and technology consultant at WSB Technologies, David has led and contributed to design, systems integration, and training engagements for organizations ranging from Fortune 50 to medium sized businesses.  David also has also lectured, authored industry white papers, and developed and delivered customized training for Information Technology vendors worldwide.  David’s current technology focus areas include Linux (Novell SUSE), Microsoft’s Windows Server family, and emerging SaaS products (e.g. Hyland Software's OBOL - ECM solution).  Focus areas include Active Directory, virtualization, plus high availability server systems (clustering).  David has significant experience with Microsoft’s Exchange messaging products, SQL Server, and document management.  David’s design activities have included integration, migration, and application architecture and development.

 

Immediately prior to co-founding WSB Technologies in 1994, Dave was a senior software engineering manager in the Windows NT development group at the former Digital Equipment Corporation. Prior to that, Dave was responsible for the design and implementation of Digital's Alpha Application Migration Centers.  Dave's educational studies were in Electrical and Physics at the State University of New York at Canton College of Technology and SUNY Potsdam. He has held industry recognized positions including: Digital Equipment Corporation Systems Engineer and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.  Dave is a current member of the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

David lives in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire with his wife Linda, where they enjoy hiking, motorcycling, and sailing.
